University plans for student-friendly financial information – due 31 October
Universities are being asked to publish income and expenditure information drawn from their financial statements on their websites in a way that is useful and accessible to students. The deadline for informing Hefce how they intend to do this is 31 October, ready to publish details from their 2013-14 audited accounts by January 2015.
Graphene innovation centre to boost portfolio of shared assets
A Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) being developed at the University of Manchester will bolster the portfolio of shared assets supporting collaborative research, after it was awarded £15 million of funding from HEFCE.
