Booking is now open for the 2014 BUFDG Annual Conference, kindly hosted at the University of Leicester on the 6th-8th April. We have created a fantastic programme of interesting plenary sessions and engaging workshop choices for FDs this year, to help you tailor your conference experience to your needs.
Following the success of last year’s ‘Power Hour’ speed networking event the session is back in 2014. This means that representatives of companies that once exhibited at the conference now attend as sponsor delegates, and you have the opportunity to meet with them in a specially pre-organised session. And of course the conference itinerary wouldn’t be complete without a social programme, which this year includes a walking tour of Leicester, a round of golf, the usual sport and leisure facilities, or visits to the National Space Centre, the Grand Central Railway, or the Botanical Gardens.
On the Sunday evening we will welcome you to the conference with a ‘Taste of Leicestershire’ dinner showcasing local food and drink in an informal setting. The 2014 Gala Dinner will be held at the National Space Centre where guests will hear an after dinner talk from a Rocket Scientist!
For the first time we are introducing an early bird discount to the delegate package price. The full delegate package will cost £500.00, the first 40 delegates to register before 11th February 2014 will qualify for a reduced package cost of just £460.00.
